Piper ate them!

Amok- 12-01-2006

How's it hangin' Spencer? Any good matches recently?

Ford- 12-02-2006

Where the heck is our favorite bad guy wrestler manager? :weight:

Amok- 12-02-2006

Yeah!

Spencer- 12-03-2006

I'm here! I'm having comp problems at home, (I'm at work now), so while I CAN get on at home, I'm usually trying to figure out how to get my comp in order without having to reinstall windows entirely, which I may have to give up and do anyway. No fun. LOL

Amok- 12-06-2006

Ugh, sorry to hear it. What happened? I recently had a bad bout with a friggin' worm/trojan horse. It sucked!

Spencer- 12-15-2006

That's probably what it is. It corrupted my windows explorer file, NOT internet explorer, but the program that puts your desktop icons, start menu, and all that on the screen. So all I have is my wallpaper there. I can run programs through task manager, but that's ALL I can do.

Man that bites. Have you downloaded adaware and spybot search and destroy? Free they are. When you run them disconnect yourself from the net so the worm doesn't regenerate.

Jim Beam- 12-18-2006

Is everything OK now Spenc?

Amok- 12-19-2006

Jim Beam- 12-19-2006

I thought we had Amok declawed.

Spencer- 01-01-2007

Yeah, it wasn't spyware, it was a virus. The virus is gone, but it damaged that one file that controls the icons, and you can't just replace that file. I tried downloading a fix but Microsoft won't allow me to, since my Windows is \"up to date.\" <_< Apparently you can only download updates ONCE.

Spencer- 01-01-2007

Is everything OK now Spenc? Nope. I gotta find enough time to deal with it, and enough CDs to save what I want to keep, in case my data gets wiped.

Jim Beam- 01-01-2007

Yeah...I have had to do that too! Call if you think I can help...ok.
