Orange !
This thread is fully dedicated to the World-cup SOCCER ( Ain't that nice Amok ? ) Our team has won the first two matches, and our litlle country got "the Orange-virus" now. Go Holland !! By the way, I saw the match USA-Italy yesterday. Italy is one of the worlds biggest nations in soccer, but your guys did great. Two Americans were expelled as well one Italian. With nine men against ten USA managed to play 1-1. Ofcourse they have less technical skills as the Italians, but they compensated that with a lot of fighting spirit. I think that is what makes soccer such a nice game. Despite the fact one team is the favorite, it is always possible that the underdog wins, or, like in this case achieves a draw.

Is it Halloween in Holland?

Vasco. I hated that game because, in the second half, soo much of it was played on the US's half of the field. There was almost no attack by the US. It was like watching the timer to a bomb tick down to one, then reset over and over. Nerveracking!

And the US actually had the best chance in the second half. They scored in fact but it did not count.

God I just wanted the keeper to fall on the ball and act hurt so the clock would run more. He did a hell of a job.

I don't know a lot about soccer, but I know a lat about getting drunk and cheering your team to victory! It looks like a good time Vasco.
