Mythbusters had an even greater explosion than the cement truck!

They -*test*-('")ed a myth that goes as follows; a wwII bellygunner fell 28000 mfeet from his bomber and just as he was about to hit a trainstation that was the target of the bombing, a 1000 LB bob exploded in the trainstation thus counteracting his decent. So...they built a mini trainstation and set off a 1000LB bomb inside it as they dropped a ballistics gel dummy from 500 Ft. (120 M.P.H.,Terminal velocity for the average size male human.) Day 1 took all day to set up the trainstation, the ballons used to take the dummy to 500 ft. came lose from the dummy They lost two ballons and didn't have enough lift. Then then the bomb squad said it was too hot to set off the bomb...plus the dummy melted. So they did it the next day. Where??? the stone quarry ofcourse! This explosion had about three times the velocity of that used in the cement truck.
